Dress: Target, Cardigan: Old Navy, Boots: Target
I love mixing prints- even though my boyfriend insists I don’t match whenever I wear this outfit or something similar. Pshh. What does he know? Today was my first time taking my own photos with a tripod and let me tell you: I suck. This is why I only have one picture. The rest were just so bad- like my head was cropped out or I was standing in the wrong light so a shadow was over me, etc. Hopefully I’ll get better with time, because I’m not always surrounded by people eager to take my picture. Sadly.
How’s everyone else doing in the challenge? So far, it’s been a piece of cake for me, but I’m looking forward to a couple of weeks from now when I’ve worn everything at least once.

ReplyDeleteso far, im feeling pretty good about the challenge. i feel better when i pick out what to wear the night before so i have time to take a pic before work. i will get more nervous by the end of next week, im sure. i ran out of items to choose from so i just threw some random stuff in and im just praying it works out :)

ReplyDeleteI knew i was going to be doing a lot of climbing and stuff at work today - I have to decorate our window display and hang b-day decorations around the store - so i dressed as comfy as possible in jeans and an over-sized button up - its the first day (day 5 for me) that I haven't felt "cute".
Its been really easy to find outfits using the items I picked for the challenge, but like elizabeth said above, we'll see what happens in a couple weeks.
your colors here are awesome- just perfect for holding on to the last bit of autumn. And I would argue to your boyfriend that this is an example of how pattern mixing SHOULD be done!

ReplyDeleteI love your mixed prints! I never really do it myself, but I think that's mostly because I have solid colored items in my closet... something to work on when the 30for30 shopping ban is over :)
